The traditional switching of the lights in Knowle will take place, on the Village Green, from 4.00pm onwards on 26 November. As usual the event will be visited by Father Christmas who will switch on the lights.

The Christmas Tree on the Green will again be provided by Knowle Society and the the lights along the shops are being supplied by Knowle Traders, who will also arrange sausage rolls and mince pies.

There was doubt earlier in the year about whether we would have lights this year because the Council advised that it would no longer fund the engineers to attend the switch on or the supply of electricity, but the Society and Traders have worked together to recover from this blow.

The event is being organised by the Knowle Society and Knowle Traders with the help of Knowle and Dorridge Round Table.
